Traffic on the Gold Coast/Brisbane area is simply hideous. Went to visit Robert at the Gallipoli Barracks Enoggera Friday afternoon. Returning to the Gold Coast the traffic was bumper to bumper for the full four lanes. Robert was certainly looking much better than he looked in the photos we saw of him at the time the Army evacuated him to Aust via a chartered Lear jet.
He still has months and months of surgery and rehab but with his positive attitude and all the gym work he does he is well on the way to recovery. Stay with it Robert and don’t forget to drop us the occassional email!
Fella was glad to see us. He even wears PJ’s of a night.
Craig and I gave the camper a close inspection and decided we didn’t like the way the water tank had been mounted. I will be adding some straps for extra support. Because of the solar panel the gas strut in the front storage box no longer supported the lid so we took it off and Pauline took me to a place at Nerang that increased its pressure. It now works fine. We also brought another padlock to lock the spare wheel in place. There are now 9 keys just for the camper trailer!
Spent last (Friday) night drinking a bit of red wine and watching the footy, except it wasn’t AFL but Rugby – Brisbane Broncos versus the Gold Coast Titans.
