Over nighting with Kieran (Vicki’s nephew) and Belinda at Wagga Wagga. They have made us very welcome.
The trip across Bass Strait was possibly the calmest that I have been on. Only the very slightest of rolls. Had a great meal in the onboard restaurant, a few drinks and a good sleep.
Not a very interesting drive today, just a highway drive. Tomorrow we leave the main road so it should be better. Mind you getting through Melbourne had its moments. I had programmed the GPS to avoid toll roads and major highways and to use the shortest route. So it took us through Melbourne via a route I had not seen before, one minute it looked like we could have been in India the next it appeared to be Lebanon.
